Hire Someone Proven
The biggest headache with hiring a freelance copywriter in 2024 is that they don't understand business, deadlines, or know how to communicate. The time you waste will ultimately cost you more than the price you are paying them. As someone who has worked in-house and freelance gigs, I can fix that.

Freelance Copywriting Services - Terms and PoliciesService Agreement:As a freelance copywriter, I provide digital marketing content creation services. This includes, but is not limited to, writing web copy, ad copy, sales pages, webinars, blog posts, social media content, email newsletters, and other marketing materials as agreed upon with each client.Payment Terms:a) Monthly Retainer:
For ongoing services, I charge a monthly retainer fee.
The full retainer amount is due at the beginning of each month, prior to any work being performed.
The retainer fee is based on the agreed-upon scope of work for that month.
b) Project-Based Fees:
For one-time projects, I charge a project fee.
The full project fee is due upfront, before any work commences.
Work on the project will begin only after the full payment has been received.
c) Commission-Based Payments:
In some cases, I may enter into revenue share agreements with clients.
Commission payouts are based on the agreed-upon percentage of revenue generated.
The specific terms, including the commission rate and payment schedule, will be outlined in a separate agreement for each revenue share deal.
Commission payments are typically processed [monthly/quarterly] based on the revenue generated in the previous period.Project Completion:A project is considered complete when the final draft is delivered according to the agreed-upon specifications. Any changes requested after this point may incur additional charges.Refund Policy:For Monthly Retainers:
If you're unsatisfied with the services provided, we request that you notify us within the first 5 business days of the month.
We will work diligently to address your concerns and make necessary adjustments to meet your expectations.
If, after our best efforts, you remain unsatisfied, we may offer a credit towards future services, the amount of which will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
For Project-Based Work:
Once work has commenced, refunds are not typically issued as significant time and resources have already been invested.
If we fail to deliver the agreed-upon work within the specified timeframe (excluding any delays caused by the client), we may offer a discount on future services or a partial credit, up to 20% of the project cost, to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
For Commission-Based Agreements:
As these are performance-based, refunds do not apply. However, the agreement can be terminated as per the terms outlined in the specific revenue share contract.Cancellation Policy:If a client cancels a project before any work has begun, it will result in a full refund. If a client cancels a project after work has commenced, payment will be due for all work completed up to the point of cancellation. This will be calculated based on the percentage of the project completed.Revision Policy:Each project includes up to two rounds of revisions at no extra cost.Additional revisions beyond this will be charged at 10% of the project cost.Revision requests must be made within 7 days of receiving the final draft.Confidentiality and Intellectual Property:I respect the confidentiality of all client information and project details. All original work remains my intellectual property until full payment is received, at which point copyright transfers to the client.Dispute Resolution:In the unlikely event of a dispute, both parties agree to act in good faith to resolve any issues through direct communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, mediation or arbitration services may be engaged before pursuing legal action.Delivery:As this is a digital service, delivery is typically made via email or through agreed-upon digital platforms (e.g., slack). Specific delivery methods can be arranged on a per-project basis.
